Our verdict
If you stream or have a content production setup, the Stream Deck Mini completely changes your workflow. 6 keys may seem few, but they cover the most-used commands: scene switching, mute, music, live notification and much more. Elgato's smallest and most affordable version.

What's it useful for if I don't stream?
Many things: mute mic in Teams/Zoom meetings, play music, control volume per app, launch applications, control Philips Hue lights or automate complex keyboard shortcuts.
Do I need the larger 15-key version?
To start, the Mini is enough. If you do professional streaming or want to control many scenes, the 15-key version is worth the extra investment.
