What an affiliate link is
When we link to a product on Amazon or another store, we use a special link that identifies SetupIdeal. If you buy through it, the store pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same: the commission comes from the store's margin, not from your pocket.
Amazon Associates Programme
SetupIdeal.com is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.es. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
How it affects our recommendations
It doesn't. We choose and score products according to our methodology, not the commission. We earn the same whether or not you buy the most expensive product, so we have no incentive to inflate ratings. Our credibility is worth more than any commission.
How we identify the links
Buttons and links that lead to a store (for example "View on Amazon" or "Buy on Amazon") are affiliate links. We mark them as such and add a visible notice next to the link.
Other platforms
Today we work mainly with Amazon, but we may add other stores in the future. When we do, this same transparency policy will apply.
